The Grid is built from 201-grade stainless steel
with a mirror polished finish.
No flat panels. No hollow frames.
Every surface is a solid steel rod —
welded into a frame that doesn't flex,
doesn't shift, and doesn't loosen over time.
The mirror finish reflects the room around it.
In warm light it reads warm.
Against natural materials it disappears into the space.

CARE
Your No. 4 brushed finish is low-maintenance by design.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth, following the grain direction.
Weekly Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Dry immediately after.
Fingerprints
A dry microfibre cloth removes most marks in seconds. The brushed finish scatters light — marks are far less visible than on a polished or mirror surface.
Spills
Wipe immediately. Do not leave wet items sitting on the surface.
Do not use
Steel wool, abrasive pads, bleach, or chloride-based cleaners.
On surface marks over time
The Sten will develop surface marks with use. On a brushed finish, these follow the grain direction and integrate into the surface — not isolated scratches.
This is patina. It is not damaged.
